!!!!NO Comment on ChinaTown Buses!!!!

So, basically We couldnt go to NYC. You know why?
Because of freaking sketchy taxi drivers, stupid bus station-full of illiterate people who are impossible to understand-,etc...
After having waited for 1 and half hours in cold, in front of a sketchy gas station, asking a lot of people whether we were in the right station and waiting for the right bus, at 1.10am a guy came, looked at our tickets and told us that we were supposed to be in the other station on Westbroad street, which was supposedly 50 min away from where we currently were. Tickets were NON refundable,too! And the bus in the correct station had already left..
I started swearing in Turkish loudly...I couldnt know to what i should be pissed off more...like, that we wouldnt have any food on campus, therefore we had to buy 10boxes of noodles and a couple of muffins, or we had ideas how we would be mocked so maybe we should have stayed only on one room, photoshop some photos in order to pretend that we actually have gone to NYC and then appear on friday night...Whatever!
It was so annoying...I was so angry and laughing at the stupidity and the idiocity of the situation..
Fucking taxi driver took us to the wrong station, what is more the people there didnt tell us anything either...
Well..We called another cab, and went back to campus...at least managed to cancel the hostel reservation and got our money back..


I mean i really dont know with what i should get angry more...
-Chinese people?
-Taxi driver,who expected a tip but we hadnt given?
-sketchy black people(i m not racist, the ones in the bus station were weird) who are incapable of speaking english?
-cold weather?
-that i had to wait for 1.5 hours standing and freezing?
-that we wouldnt have any food on campus?
-wasted money?
-wasted thanksgiving holiday?

Anyways...Overall, maybe sth bad would happen if we had gone...and we would be wishing that we had missed the bus...so maybe...
or maybe these are just self satisfaction words of a screwed person... i dont know..in any case, i m never gonna travel by bus within the borders of this country..This is the 3 rd attempt of mine, and every time i tried, sth suspicious and stupid happened...These people are so bad at public transportation..
So many people have cars(almost everyone), and therefore dont care about the rest..No matter what, Europe is way better than the States..

In conclusion, next time i m travelling in this country; i will save some more money, work more on campus, and travel by plane...At least i will be sure that noone will give me weird looks,seem like they are gonna rob me, or try to sell me perfumes...


P.S: Today is thanksgiving...And most probably i will be spending my thanksgiving dinner by eating noodles!how nice,isnt it?
